Brows are the FRAME of your face! Your face looks amazing when eyebrows are well groomed.
I do not suggest waxing your eyebrows. Waxing diminishes your skin’s elasticity and gets it very irritated, and may cause you to breakout. Also, waxing is imprecise.
Please do NOT use a razor! It leaves little hair bumps behind and doesn’t look clean.
My personal technique is tweezing and trimming. Some feel that tweezing takes too long, but the end result is well worth it. Threading is also a good option.
Here are a few tips for both women and men:
You cannot look at another woman’s brows from a magazine and think: “Okay, this is how I’d like my eyebrows!”
Brows, like hairstyles and haircuts, should flatter the shape and size of YOUR face. Your eyebrows are like fingerprints. Everyone’s brows are different, which is why it’s very important to get them done professionally and maintain them between visits. Many women try to shape their own eyebrows and destroy them! It would be wise to invest in a great pair of tweezers, such as my favorites by Tweezerman.
I always say less is more when it comes to grooming your brows. Keep it simple. Do NOT over tweeze! Just clean them up, take away hairs that are growing outside the shape of your brow, and always clean up in-between where the eyebrows meet.
Tweezerman also has a great product you put on your brows post tweezing. It not only soothes, but helps with redness and inflammation.
