Big companies and organizations do it, so why shouldn’t mothers raising the future leaders and entrepreneurs of the world do the same?
That’s why we’re challenging you to think about and write your mission statement.
We know it’s not easy, so to get the ball rolling and inspire you a little, we’ve included below our goals, as well as that of three other movers and shakers.
Young Urban Moms: To educate, support and unite young, urban moms so that they can not only inform themselves, but also empower the leaders of our future.
Microsoft: Our mission and values are to help people and businesses throughout the world realize their full potential.
Google: Google’s mission is to organize the world’s information and make it universally accessible and useful.
American Express: We believe that serving our communities is not only integral to running a business successfully, it is part of our individual responsibilities as citizens of the world.
These are simple and straight to the point.
So get ready to develop your own. We’re not asking you to state your missions just as a mother, but as a woman, wife or in terms of your careers.
What are your beliefs and values? What do you want to present to the world?
Tell us what your “company” is about.
