Everyday Gratitude: Building Traditions

By: Carolina Pichardo

Young Urban Moms, we should always be grateful for the traditions that our families keep and create

Tonight in New York City, the streets are a little brighter (and crowded), and all thanks to the Rockefeller Christmas Three Lighting Ceremony.

Although over 2.5 million people travel to witness this event, the special and traditional part of it really takes place at home. Decorating and preparing for the holidays is not only fun and exiciting, but most imporantly – memorable.

And that’s what we should all be building with our families.

We should always be grateful for the traditions that our families keep and create. Whether it’s a recent one or a ritual that’s been handed down several generations, it’s something we can give to our children, as well as their children, families and beyond.
