Last-Minute, Simple and Romantic Tips

By: Staff Report

Young Urban Moms, regardless of how you celebrate Valentine’s Day, adding a little romance into your week is never a bad idea

Regardless of how you celebrate Valentine’s Day, you have to admit that adding a little romance into your week is never a bad idea.

We’ve listed some simple, effective and often forgotten way to make this day special.

Chocolate, Chocolate and More Chocolate

Sure you can grab a box of chocolates from the nearest store and call it a day, but wouldn’t it be more memorable and delicious if you got creative with it? We’re talking chocolate-covered strawberries (or on any other fruits for that matter) just to get your taste buds and bedroom scene started.

Take It From Sinatra to Usher

Nothing sets the romantical mood quite like music. You could use it as the backdrop/start to a nice dinner, with Al Green and Usher added into a Sade and Bon Jovi playlist created just for your significant other, and watch it lead you into other grooves and action.

You Can Always Include the Kids

Although it’s mostly a couples thing, this Valentine’s day is on a school-night and getting a babysitter could be out of the question.

That’s why you should never hesitate to loop your kids into the fun with some quick and easy arts and crafts. You can’t lose with the traditional heart-cutting! Add some glitter, maybe a little poetry-reciting and you have yourself a memorable evening as a family.

Just make sure you start early and do a lot, that way you’ll still have time to enjoy the first two tips listed on here.
