The National Association of Female Executives (NAFE) is bringing its Leadership Summit to Atlanta. This Women’s Leadership Summit will guide participants through a day of self-discovery and action planning. Skill-building sessions cover areas of strategic thinking, power networking, career mapping, mentorship/sponsorship, self-promotion and building the right relationships.
Women of all levels who are looking to make the most of their careers are encouraged to participate in this summit. The Atlanta event will offer inspirational speakers, networking and skill-building tools designed to help high-potential, high-achieving women learn how to build relationships and negotiate for opportunity and advancement. Speakers include executives from some of the top companies such as Turner Broadcasting, Campbell Soup Company, and Sam’s Club. They will offer insight on how to get in the door, distinguish yourself once there, and then accelerate your climb to the top using networking and mentorship
NAFE is one of the country’s largest associations for women professionals and business owners, and through education, networking, and public advocacy empowers its members to achieve both career and personal success. The Leadership Summit came to Los Angeles last week and will also make stops in Minneapolis and Dallas later this year.
This event is designed to give women tools to successfully forge ahead in their careers. Though the registration fee ($995) could be prohibitive for some, NAFE claims attendees will leave with a sense of empowerment and a plan to take charge of their professional future. Think of it as an investment in yourself. Besides the information and networking opportunities, the day also includes breakfast, a luncheon, and a dessert break.
I am fortunate enough to be able to attend this event courtesy of Working Mother Media and NAFE so I’ll report back and tell you what I learned!
