My 9-year old daughter has been bugging me for a phone for years now. Up until now, I was able to ignore her constant nagging citing security concerns but, recently, that all changed. More and more of her friends have begun flaunting their new phones. Of course, I don’t want my daughter to be an outcast in that regard, however, the real “aha” moment came to me when I was running late to pick her up from school, and I couldn’t help but think to myself how great it would be if I could just shoot her a text to let her know that I was on the way as I envisioned her hopeless face as the last kid left to be picked up. I finally got my husband to come around when I sold him on how great it would be to eliminate those random calls on his phone from 4th grade little girls, and to not be bothered to provide his phone for iTunes and tween app downloading purposes. Once he was on board, making the decision to take the leap with Net10 was a no-brainer. With Net10 Wireless, everyone in the family can get their own smartphone, plus unlimited everything—all for half of what a contract plan would charge. Like most YUMs out there, I am on a budget, so the fact that with Net10 Wireless there are no contracts, credit checks, activation charges or cancellation fees to worry about was a a major factor in my decision. Simply buy a phone and purchase any one of several airtime or monthly plans. Since my daughter can be more of a geek and technology snob than I am, I had to make sure that I wasn’t getting her a shabby phone. Net10 Wireless offers the latest Android and other phones, with unlimited local and long-distance calling on America’s best networks as well as roaming, text messaging, Internet access, and WiFi connectivity. We just started using our phones this week (my daughter couldn’t wait to take pictures of our Christmas tree trimming with it), and as the video conveys, she couldn’t be happier! Wish me luck guys – I will keep you posted on how it goes!
