We all know it’s important to eat well while pregnant, but what and how you eat prior also has a significant impact on your fertility and pregnancy. According to dieticians at Loyola University Health System (LUHS), women who follow a Mediterranean-style diet increase their chances of getting pregnant. That means a menu plan high in vegetables, vegetable oils, fish and beans.

Along with good nutrition, however, women are also encouraged to take a regular women’s multivitamin and increase intake of vegetable protein, whole grains, fruits and high-fat dairy.
